Just to start, I loves me some Pokemon.

So let's get on to these so called "fakemon".

There are some wonderful artists trooping about this place, thinking ideas and drawing up things and creating their own regions and own starters and own Pokemon and these...

Are some of the best things I've seen, even if the animals they're going off of mirror each other someone what, I've noticed that everyone usually takes it in a bit of a different direction.

This is good, I like it.

Before Diamond and Pearl came out I'd seen alot of the Pokemon and I'll be honest, I was disappointed. I think my exact words were, "Wtf, the guys on dA are doing better shit than this."

And quite frankly, they are.

They really are, I won't mention any names, but I watch them all. Two in particular always have me very thrilled about their Pokemon.

I see the images they create and I am already thinking of moves and names, if I'd give them any HMs. In these artists' regions I've already created a team, or at least have a starter.

I mean there's no way I'm automatically going to get some of the stronger Pokemon they've created.

Also I would like to point out, on the idea of starters, these guys running around with their "fakes" have some of the best looking starters I've seen.

I just hope when it comes to a move set, there's no let down.

Pokemon Red and Green, the originals had awesome starters. Gold and Silver also had excellent starters though the Pokelist in General was weak. I mean, you can take a Totodile with you all the way, you want to have and keep your Feraligator.

Not so much Pocchama, not so much Treeko ...not so much Cyndaquil. Also, though I love a favorite few from Diamond and Pearl, the general group I think is weak, but you know how its made up? The old favorites get awesome new moves and these pokemon are learning moves right on top of each other.

If you care to remember in the originals, it was like a move...damn, almost five to ten levels apart? I don't know but hard times.

I love Pokemon, but going back through I've built a Poison team.

I say, I wish I had a Drapling or a Garglance. A Troisquail or a cute Squidpedo. Iguseed maybe... Or Teepolter.
